THE CLASH Achieves Objectives

THE CLASH program was held yesterday, as a result of the collaboration between the Selangor Football Association, FAS, and the country's infamous e-sports team, Team Bosskurr at the FAS Training Center, Shah Alam.

The charity program involves two main parts, namely e-sports’ PUBG tournament, and 5-a-side football matches that being streamed live on Facebook to raise funds to be donated to charities.

In addition, this program also works as a meeting point between football and e-sports athletes to share the same stage and work together for a good cause.

FAS President, DYTM Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj also show his support by being part of the program’s participants and also mingled with the Red Giants players and Team Bosskurr.

During the interview, Tengku Amir took the opportunity to express his contentment over the cooperation between FAS and the e-sports team, especially in providing benefits to those in need.

"I think it is a good program because it is the first collaboration between the top team in the e-sports arena in Malaysia, Team Bosskurr (and FA Selangor). We have done some other e-sports programs before, but for PUBG, this is the first. I believe the Red Giants' supporters and PUBG fans are also excited about today's program. "

"Most importantly, the proceeds from THE CLASH program will also be channeled to charities to help them during this COVID-19 pandemic," added Tengku Amir.
